2. A datalink adapter (RP1210)

INSITE does not talk to the engine directly. It communicates through an RP1210-compliant datalink adapter. Cummins INLINE 7 is the current supported device; INLINE 5 and INLINE 6 still work with INSITE but are no longer supported by Cummins.
